Olivia summered with BLG Vancouver in 2023 and assisted lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups. Olivia is clerking at the Supreme Court of British Columbia in 2024/2025, and will return to the firm thereafter.
Prior to attending law school, Olivia completed her Bachelor of Arts at McGill University in English Literature. While at McGill, she competed on McGill’s Varsity Women’s Hockey Team, volunteered as a student editor, and worked as a research assistant in the English department. During law school, she worked with the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service (DSAS). At DSAS, Olivia gained advocacy experience by helping students through the university’s disciplinary processes.
After hearing from many of BLG’s students and lawyers during the recruitment process, Olivia was confident that BLG had a positive and collaborative environment. She chose BLG because of its strong mentorship and commitment to student learning.
In her spare time, Olivia enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with friends, including hiking and climbing, as well as reading and travelling as much as possible.
