Unconscious Bias

Join Toni De Mello, Director of Human Rights at Ryerson University and The Honourable Thomas Cromwell as they delve into the role of unconscious bias in the workplace — and in the courtroom. Participate in an interactive session led by Toni De Mello that explores the way in which hidden biases manifest in organizations and impact the way we attract, retain, and engage with employees, as well as the company culture. Hear from The Honourable Thomas Cromwell on how the justice system has struggled with systemic racism; how judges are trained to combat unconscious bias; and a little very basic law about systemic discrimination.

Please note that Toni De Mello’s session will be a repeat of the 2-hour presentation made at our May program. For mandatory CPD purposes, a specific session can only be claimed once during a calendar year.
