How to build a more inclusive culture and strengthen diversity initiatives across the legal profession
For years, law firms across Canada have committed to diversity and inclusion initiatives, yet many challenges remain. Join Laleh Moshiri, BLG’s National Director of Diversity and Inclusion, in a discussion about what initiatives law firms and law schools are undertaking to recruit and retain Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) lawyers, examine the underlying systemic problems preventing real change and seek frameworks for solutions to address them. The speakers will also explore how these types of initiatives – in concert with each other - can help foster a more diverse, inclusive and sustainable legal profession.
