Jamie Mills Welcomed Into the LCA Fellowship
Ottawa (February 22, 2017) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) is pleased to announce that Jamie Mills, a partner and patent agent in the firm's Intellectual Property Group, has been welcomed into the fellowship of the Litigation Counsel of America.
The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) is an invitation-only, diverse, peer-selected honorary society of 3,500 of the best trial lawyers in the legal industry. The purpose of the LCA is to recognize deserving, experienced and highly qualified lawyers, and to provide additional sources for professional development, community involvement and the promotion of ethical standards in the practice of law.
Fellows are selected and invited into the fellowship after being evaluated for effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and trial work, along with ethical reputation.
Based in BLG's Ottawa office, Mr. Mills practises in all areas of intellectual property law, including prosecution and litigation of patents, trademarks and copyrights, with a primary focus on pharmaceutical patent litigation.
