Jeffrey Mitchell Returns to the Firm in its Toronto Office
Toronto (February 5, 2018) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Mitchell is returning to BLG where he will continue his practice as a partner in the Labour and Employment group based in its Toronto office.
Mr. Mitchell’s practice focuses on employment, labour and human rights issues. He advises non-union employers on employment contracts, union organizing drives and employment-related litigation before the Courts. He also advises unionized employers on collective agreement interpretation and bargaining strategy and he acts as primary spokesperson in collective bargaining. His vast experience covers many industries such as retail, manufacturing, information technology and financial services.

Mr. Mitchell is a graduate of the Osgoode Hall Law School (York University) where he received his LL.B. in 1996. He was Adjunct Professor at Woodsworth College (University of Toronto) from 2001 to 2011 and teaches classes on a variety of labour and employment issues. Mr. Mitchell is also a Board member of Turning Point Youth Services.
