National (April 8, 2022) – For the third year in a row, Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) was named Firm of the Year – Trademark Prosecution – Canada at the 17th annual Managing IP Awards. This award is a testament to our national Intellectual Property group’s ability to deliver innovative and client-focused solutions. The group also received three Impact Case of the Year Awards for the following cases:
- Hidden Bench Vineyards & Winery Inc v Locust Lane Estate Winery Corp
- Western Oilfield Equipment Rentals v M-I LLC
- York University v Canadian Copyright Licensing Agency (Supreme Court of Canada)
In addition, BLG partner Justine Wiebe was awarded Practitioner of the Year – Trademark - Canada and, for the fifth year in a row, was named one of Managing IP’s 2021 Top 250 Women in IP for her ability to deliver outstanding results to her clients.
