Nadya Tymochenko a highly regarded human rights and special education lawyer based in BLG’s Toronto office, advises school boards, independent schools, and colleges. Nadya has extensive experience handling complex cases related to student discipline, special education, and health and safety. She has also made notable contributions to legal resources for school boards, co-authoring guides such as “An Educator’s Guide to Managing Sexual Misconduct in Schools.”
Gillian Tuck Kutarna is an accomplished school board and social impact lawyer based in BLG’s Ottawa office, with deep expertise in education law, not-for-profit and charities law, and corporate governance. She regularly advocates for her clients in court, the human rights and other tribunals, and arbitration and mediation environments. guiding clients through complex regulatory landscapes while balancing competing rights. With Nadya, Gillian co-authored "An Educator's Guide to Internet and Social Media in the Classroom".
