  • Structures for non-resident corporations conducting business in Canada;
  • Tax effective structuring of investment funds.

  • Occidental Petroleum Corp. in the acquisition of Carbon Engineering for US$1.1 billion, August 2023.
  • Lumina Gold Corp. in respect of a US$300M Metal Streaming Agreement with Wheaton Precious Metals, May 2023.
  • Pan American Silver Corp. in the acquisition of Yamana Gold Inc. for $4.8 billion and the concurrent sale of its Canadian mining Assets to Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. for $2.4 billion, March 2023.
  • IFS in its acquisition of Clevest Solutions Inc., a provider of mobile workforce management and advanced network deployment solutions in the utilities vertical, October 2020.
  • Aimia Loyalty Solutions in its merger with Kognitiv Corporation to form a technology-forward loyalty solutions provider, April 2020.
  • Pan American Silver Corp. in its acquisition of Tahoe Resources Inc. for $1.288 billion, February 2019.
