Safi has a LLB from the University of Montréal. She has a strong interest in litigation, labour law and employment and medical liability.

Prior to joining the BLG team, Safi articled with judge Jeffrey Edwards of the Superior Court of Québec. During this internship, Safi performed different tasks such as: drafting research memorandums, conducting legal research and attending hearings.

During her Law Degree, Safi was very involved in her university. In particular, she was coordinator of the pro bono chapter of the University of Montréal, where she created training on unconscious biases. Moreover, she was the sponsorship vice-president for the Black Law Students Association. During her mandate, she and her colleagues created an admission scholarship for black students studying law at her university.
