With expertise in securities and capital markets matters, Eric advises clients in a variety of sectors. He also has extensive experience in the formation and financing of investment funds, structured products and private equity funds.

His robust practice also focuses on counselling companies and underwriters within the following industries:

  • real estate

Throughout his career, Eric has been involved in public and private offerings for numerous companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, the Toronto Stock Exchange and other foreign stock exchanges.

  • Acted as counsel to both issuers and investment bankers in connection with a variety of offerings, and in particular junior to intermediate issuers in the mining industry, including offerings by:

      • Great Panther Resources Limited
      • Hathor Exploration Limited
      • Tournigan Energy Ltd.
      • Powertech Uranium Corp.

  • Acted as counsel in connection with the structuring and public offering of a variety of investment funds, income funds and REITs.
  • Acted in connection with the establishment and operation of a variety of private equity funds.
  • Acted as counsel in the reorganization of a publicly traded coal company and the establishment of project joint venture.
  • Acted as counsel to target in connection with the $500-million acquisition of a public medical imaging device manufacturer.
  • Acted as counsel to a Canadian chartered bank in connection with a $325-million preferred share offering.
