In his estates and trusts practice, Austin handles probate litigation, rectification and wills variation claims, capacity issues, trust disputes and other matters.
In his commercial litigation practice, Austin acts for businesses involved in a wide range of disputes including civil litigation and arbitration, with an emphasis on creditor-side insolvency and foreclosure matters.
Austin is fluently bilingual and holds both common law and civil law degrees.
Prior to joining BLG, Austin worked in investigations and discipline at professional regulatory body in BC. During his third year of law school, he was a student law clerk at the Cour supérieure du Québec.
