Matthew maintains a broad disputes practice, with a focus on property and public law. His experience includes energy, administrative and commercial litigation, as well as regulatory matters.

Matthew acts before arbitration panels, the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench. He also appears regularly before the Surface Rights Board and other tribunals.

Before joining BLG, Matthew completed a clerkship with the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench and articled at a boutique firm focused on Indigenous law, including constitutional, energy and governance disputes in Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
