Shwan advises his clients on all aspects of employment and labour law, with a particular interest in labour relations. He supports clients on matters relating to:
- the interpretation of collective agreements
- labour relations
- labour standards
- the enforcement of disciplinary measures
- individual and mass dismissals
- the preparation of employment agreements
Shwan represents a variety of employers in grievance arbitrations, employment disputes and collective agreement negotiations. His clients greatly appreciate his pragmatic and efficient approach.
Prior to joining BLG in 2018, Shwan began his career in Ville de Longueuil’s legal department. He also built his labour and employment law practice in a boutique firm.
