Stephanie practices labour and employment and human rights law. She advises public and private sector employers on a variety of matters, including employment standards, policy development and revision, contracts, and health and safety.
Stephanie is also experienced in accessibility legislation, employee accommodations, workplace harassment complaints and investigations, employee terminations and severance packages, employee disciplinary issues and absenteeism.
She advises and represents health sector clients and other service providers in human rights cases relating to patient or customer service.
Stephanie has appeared as employer and/or defence counsel before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Labour Relations Board and at labour arbitrations.
