Ashley is a student in BLG’s Ottawa office for the 2026 summer term. She is focusing on Disputes and Corporate law.
At the University of Ottawa, Ashley completed a major research paper on Algorithmic bias in the Canadian Criminal Justice System. She also authored papers on autonomous vehicles and their ethical considerations.
Ashley previously worked as a Lawyer on Emerging Technologies and Policy at the Nigerian Parliament, where she advised on artificial intelligence governance and supported policy development. She also worked as an Intellectual Property and Technology Specialist for a major technology company, where she managed portfolios and advised on technology-related legal matters.
