Jessica will be attending the Professional Legal Training Course this fall and will commence her articles at the firm in November. Jessica summered with BLG Vancouver in 2022 and assisted lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.

Jessica completed a dual degree and obtained her Masters of Arts in International Affairs from Carlton University’s Norman Patterson School of International Affairs. At law school, Jessica worked as a research assistant, supporting and coordinating Indigenous intellectual property law research. In addition, she volunteered as a peer mentor for first-year law students. Prior to joining BLG, Jessica worked at Health Canada in the Tobacco Control Directorate and as a canoe-tripping guide in northern Ontario.

Jessica chose to work at BLG because of the welcoming environment and dynamic culture. She appreciates BLG’s approach to student development and how the firm provides students with the resources for success. She is eager to explore BLG’s wide range of practice areas and expertise this summer.

In her spare time, Jessica likes to hike, rock climb, and explore Vancouver, her new home city.
