Filipe is a lawyer in Montréal’s Commercial Litigation Group. He represents and advises a diverse clientele, including some of Canada’s largest companies, in the management of complex commercial disputes requiring rigour, creativity, and strategic acumen. His practice also focuses on extraordinary remedies such as injunctions, seizures, and safeguard orders, as well as class actions, banking and estate litigation, privacy protection, and real estate law, particularly disputes involving commercial leasing.
Filipe has represented clients’ interests before various judicial bodies in Québec, including before the Court of Appeal of Québec. As a litigator, he is involved at every stage of a dispute, from litigation prevention and strategic planning to courtroom advocacy, which has led him to participate in several hearings and trials.
