Alex’s practice focuses mainly on bankruptcy and insolvency, financial restructuring, and fraud recovery.
She also works on litigation cases involving fraud and misappropriation of funds, and matters proceeding under the Companies Creditors' Arrangements Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
Prior to joining BLG, Alex held a role as a senior associate at a Toronto-based firm, where she argued before all levels of Court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Superior Court of Justice, the Toronto Commercial List, the Bankruptcy Court, as well as various boards and tribunals.
