David practices exclusively in the areas of construction, real estate and civil liability dispute resolution.
Within his practice, David advises a variety of clients related to the areas of construction, infrastructure and procurement, representing all entities in all levels of court in British Columbia.
David is also a professional engineer registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC) since 1984.
Prior to joining BLG, he worked for several major construction companies over a seven-year period as a project manager, engineer and superintendent on significant industrial, commercial, heavy civil and marine construction projects in British Columbia and Nova Scotia, including the Revelstoke Dam, Quintette Coal conveyor and Expo '86.
David provides legal services through a Law Corporation.

- Lead Plaintiff's counsel for the Design/Build Contractor of a $250 million P3 hospital extension in a COC Policy coverage dispute in BC, the Plaintiff was awarded $8.5 million for the claim, 2014.

- Counsel for numerous Strata Corporations, Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Property owners, Developers, Contractors, Suppliers and Insurers in over 120 building envelope claims in BC and Alberta.
