As an Articling Student, Ursula is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Prior to attending law school, Ursula received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics from Saint Mary’s University and held several roles within the insurance industry. During Ursula’s first year of law school, she participated in Pro-Bono Students Canada’s Consent project where she prepared and delivered workshops to high school students on the legal concept of consent, sexual assault, and some criminal offences. In her second year of law school, she worked as a Student Clinician at a Family Law Clinic where she managed case files of marginalized women in need of Family Law Services.
