As an Articling Student, Simrin is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Prior to attending law school, Simrin received a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society with distinction from the University of Calgary, and interned at an immigration and refugee law firm in Washington, DC. Simrin was selected to represent her riding at the Daughters of the Vote political leadership summit in Parliament.
Simrin was drawn to BLG’s intensive summer student program which emphasizes mentorship and allows her to explore a myriad of practice areas. She also chose to work at BLG because of the kindness and collegiality expressed by every member she met in the recruitment process.
