As a Summer Law Student, Janice Dutchak is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Before attending law school, Janice received a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Sociology the Crime and Community Stream, and a Justice System certificate from Brandon University. During her first summer of law school, she worked at the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations and the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law, as a Memorandum of Understanding Summer Research Student.
Janice chose to work at BLG because of the firm’s commitment to fostering students’ intellectual growth, strong mentorship, and its authenticity.
In her spare time, Janice loves to swim, golf, and play pool. Recently, she enjoys going outside her comfort zone while cooking and taking pictures of her masterpieces.
