As a Summer Law Student, Kaeli is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Before law school, Kaeli earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Legal Studies at MacEwan University and worked as a Judicial Clerk at the Alberta Court of Justice. At the University of Alberta, Kaeli serves as Vice President of Operations for the Law and Business Association. During her first year of law school, she volunteered with Student Legal Services in the Civil and Criminal Law projects, managing applications and advising and representing principals. She also served on the fundraising committee for the Women’s Law Forum, coordinating fundraising campaigns for events and philanthropic initiatives.
Kaeli chose BLG for its welcoming, collaborative culture that fosters continuous learning and professional growth. She values the firm’s commitment to student development through strong mentorship and meaningful work opportunities. The firm’s dedication to excellence and team-driven approach stood out to her as an ideal environment to build her legal career.
In her spare time, Kaeli enjoys playing volleyball, hiking and camping in the mountains, and catching a sports game when she can.
