As a Summer Law Student, Vicky is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Prior to law school, Vicky received a Bachelor of Science with Distinctions in Biological Sciences and Psychology from the University of Alberta. During Vicky’s first year of law school, she participated in the Student Legal Service’s Wills Clinic, where she assisted in drafting wills, personal directives, and power of attorney documents for low-income individuals. Outside of school, Vicky works at her family restaurant and conducts private piano lessons for young children.
Vicky was attracted to BLG due to its strong mentorship and the impressive strength of its student program. Recognizing the firm's commitment to setting up law students for success, Vicky felt confident that she would receive invaluable guidance and support throughout her journey. At BLG, Vicky saw herself as more than just a student; she envisioned herself as part of a community dedicated to nurturing and developing aspiring lawyers, ensuring they are well-equipped for their future legal careers.
Vicky enjoys hosting dinner parties, baking, gardening, film photography, and plans to learn pottery this summer.
