As an articling student, Chiamaka is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Chiamaka attended the University of Leicester’s Law School in the United Kingdom under the prestigious Citizens of Change 100 Scholarship and the Canadian Excellence Scholarship. She graduated with a Second-Class Upper Division Honours (Magna Cum Laude). Her active involvement in student societies and mooting competitions allowed her to develop strong communication, networking, and advocacy skills.
Prior to law school, Chiamaka attended the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management, where she earned a Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in marketing and entrepreneurship and was named to the Dean’s Honour List. She served as a House of Commons Page in her first year and later worked as a Proceedings and Verifications Officer in the House of Commons Hansard department, a role she held until 2023.
Chiamaka previously interned at a downtown Calgary corporate boutique law firm and remains an active volunteer, earning the Governor General’s Sovereign Medal for Volunteers in 2016. She is an excellent communicator and is fluently bilingual in English and French.

In her spare time, Chiamaka enjoys golfing, swimming, traveling, reading fiction, skating, and hosting events as an MC.
