Julien has worked in BLG’s Montréal office as a student since summer 2025.
He has a particular interest in administrative and constitutional law, as well as appellate advocacy. He also gravitates towards civil and commercial disputes and municipal law.
During his studies, Julien was a research assistant for a professor, helping draft articles about property law and intellectual property. He also interned with the Honourable Pierre J. Dalphond, senator and former judge at the Court of Appeal of Québec, and was an assistant editor of University of Ottawa’s Revue générale de droit.
Prior to joining BLG, Julien worked as a constituency assistant for the Honourable Pascale St-Onge, former Member of Parliament, and as a clerk of court at the Small Claims Division of the Court of Québec.
He will work as a law clerk for the Federal Court in 2026.
