As a law student, Hugo supports lawyers from different practice groups by drafting memos and carrying out research mandates on a variety of topics.
He has a particular interest in insolvency and corporate restructuring matters.
Hugo participated in the 2025 Laskin Moot Competition in constitutional and administrative law, where he placed fourth in the Oralists category.
Prior to joining BLG, Hugo completed two consecutive internships at TransferTech Sherbrooke, University of Sherbrooke’s intellectual property valorization office.
