A law student in our Insolvency & Restructuring Group, Hugo is very enthusiastic about financing matters, especially when it comes to restructurings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act.
He contributes to his group by drafting research notes and procedures, in addition to providing general support to the lawyers.
Hugo participated in the 2025 Laskin Moot Competition in constitutional and administrative law, where he placed fourth in the Oralists category.
Prior to joining BLG, he completed two consecutive internships at TransferTech Sherbrooke, University of Sherbrooke’s intellectual property valorization office.
