Carson is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2025 summer term. He is focusing on business law.
As a law student, Carson advocates for Olympic athletes as a Caseworker at the AthletesCAN Sport Solution Clinic and mentors students through the Ivey Law and Ivey Consulting Clubs. Before joining BLG, he held summer positions at a leading executive compensation and corporate governance consulting firm and a privately held oil and gas company.
Carson chose to work at BLG because of the firm’s strong national presence, collaborative culture, and talented leadership. After having conversations with lawyers at the firm, he was drawn to the opportunity to gain experience across multiple practice areas and engage in complex legal work early in his career.
In Carson’s free time, you can find him playing hockey as a goaltender and visiting his family and friends in his hometown in Alberta.
