Alisha is a 2L summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2026 summer term. She is focusing on business law.
Alisha is an executive member of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), where she led the planning of LEAF Ottawa’s annual Equality Day and contributes to public legal education on substantive gender equality. She has also been involved with the National Association of Women and the Law, served as an Associate Editor of the Ottawa Law Review, and worked with the Judicial and Registry Services of the Federal Court of Appeal. As a BCom/JD dual degree student, Alisha was drawn to BLG for its excellence in business law and its integration of environmental, social, and governance considerations into its practice. During the recruitment process, her conversations with lawyers and students highlighted the firm’s culture of continuous learning and the broad exposure students gain across a wide range of industries.
In her spare time, Alisha enjoys baking, crocheting, playing pickleball, and exploring new cafes.
