Scott is an articling student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2025-2026 term. He is focusing on disputes.
As a law student, Scott was involved in a wide range of opportunities. He spent a semester in a student clerkship placement at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Kingston, advocated for federal prisoners as a Student Caseworker with the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, and served as a research assistant for several Queen’s Law faculty members. As an upper-year tutor, Scott also supported first-year students through academic and career mentorship. Prior to entering law school, Scott worked in Marketing and Communications at a national construction company.
Scott chose to work at BLG after meeting many of the firm’s lawyers during the interview process and being struck by the supportive and collegial culture. He was drawn to BLG because of the firm’s wide range of practice areas, focus on mentorship, and flexible student program, all of which make for an incredible student experience.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys staying active, reading science fiction, and exploring different areas of Toronto. Scott is also an avid traveller, having lived in seven countries before returning to Canada.
