Jakob is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the summer 2026 term. Jakob is working in the Disputes group.
As a law student Jakob volunteers with Pro-Bono Students Canada, coaches undergraduate trial advocacy, and competes on the moot team. Prior to joining BLG Jakob competed in international trial advocacy competitions and created a program to teach legal argumentation to high school and undergraduate students.
Jakob chose BLG after speaking to students during the recruitment process and learning about the incredible summer opportunities and friendly atmosphere. Jakob is passionate about litigation and is excited to learn from the amazing team at BLG.
When not studying or working, Jakob loves spending time with his many pets, trying out new recipes, and reading philosophy.
