Jayme is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office in the disputes group.
While at Osgoode Hall Law School, Jayme engaged in clinic work with the Anti-Discrimination Intensive Program. Last summer she worked at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC) and continued this as a clinic student in the fall semester. Jayme acted as a 1L Representative on Osgoode’s Student Caucus. She is the current Mental Health Committee Chair on the Osgoode Peer Support Centre, as well as a Staff Writer for Osgoode’s newspaper. She also enjoys competing in moot competitions. Before law school, Jayme worked for a boutique personal injury and employment firm in her hometown.
Jayme chose BLG because of the wide range of practice areas in which students can gain indispensable experience and knowledge. Throughout the recruitment process, it was evident to her that BLG offers an incredibly supportive environment, and she enjoyed meeting many committed and driven members of the firm.
In her spare time, Jayme enjoys trying new coffee shops and restaurants in the city, reading psychological thrillers, baking gluten-free desserts, and going for nature walks.
