As a Summer Law Student, Alvin is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Prior to attending law school, Alvin received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University. During and following his undergraduate studies, he interned with a prominent sports management agency, where he assisted with NIL research and supported efforts to enhance clients’ marketability and branding opportunities.
During law school, Alvin served as an Associate Editor on the Queen’s Law Journal Submissions Board, a Senior Editor of the Black Canadian Law Journal, and Vice-President of the Queen’s Sports and Entertainment Law Club.
Alvin is also the founder of True Evolution Hoops, a basketball media platform launched in 2024 that has developed a strong presence in U SPORTS basketball coverage.
Alvin chose BLG because of the firm’s emphasis on mentorship and its genuine commitment to the professional development of its students. He was drawn to BLG’s collaborative culture and the opportunity to work alongside talented lawyers who are invested in helping students learn, grow, and succeed.
In his spare time, Alvin enjoys playing drums, basketball and reading.
