As a Summer Law Student, Ali is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Prior to law school, Ali earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia Okanagan, before gaining professional experience across corporate and startup environments in client relations, communications, and digital marketing.
At law school, Ali has been actively engaged in clinical and advocacy work, serving on the Magnitsky Sanctions Team through the International Justice and Human Rights Clinic and competing on the 2026 UBC Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team, where he earned individual and team honours in both oral and written advocacy.
During his 1L summer, Ali gained in-house experience as a legal intern with a global athleisure apparel company in Vancouver.
