Our conversation will focus on the nuances of ethics and compliance as General Counsel and how it can differ from other legal roles. Our panel will include BLG lawyers and general counsel.

Discussion topics will include:

  • Who is your client?
  • Internal conflicts of interest and best practices for resolution
  • Legal Ethics in a Digital World/Hybrid Workplace

CPD information

BC | This course has been accredited for 1.5 Practice Management and Professional Responsibility & Ethics hours. Course name: In House Counsel CPD Series – In-House Counsel Ethics Panel Discussion. Course number: N13102022.

ON | This program is eligible for 1.5 Professionalism content.

QC | Please note, the concept of "recognition" or "accreditation" has been abolished. By doing this, the Barreau is trying to make it easier for lawyers to claim mandatory CLE credits without a formal accreditation process. It is now up to individual lawyers to determine the eligibility of a training activity and to declare the hours in their “Dossier de formation en ligne”.
