Robert Antenore brings commercial real estate lending expertise to the firm
Toronto (November 19, 2018) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) welcomes Robert Antenore, who joined the firm today as a partner in its Commercial Real Estate practice. Robert will be based in BLG’s Toronto office.
Robert has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, including developments, investment transactions, complex leasing and title matters. The primary focus of his practice is commercial real estate lending, in which he has a sophisticated and high profile expertise.

Before joining BLG, Robert was Associate General Counsel at one of Canada’s "Big Five" banks. He was also a partner at a national law firm, prior to joining the bank, where he focused on commercial real estate lending, including sophisticated defeasance transactions. Over his career, Robert has acted for national and international financial institutions, commercial real estate companies, asset managers and pension funds.
Robert obtained his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2000.
