Inga Masjule joins BLG as Chief Talent Officer

National (October 25, 2022) – Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) welcomes Inga Masjule as Chief Talent Officer (CTO), based in the Firm’s Toronto office.

In this role, Inga is responsible for developing and implementing the Firm’s talent strategy to enhance the Firm's ability to attract, develop and retain high quality talent. She leads a team of professionals in the Firm's professional resources, recruitment, professional development, equity, diversity & inclusion, and human resources departments and is committed to continuing to build a culture that is team-oriented, collegial and committed to professional excellence.

Inga is a recognized law firm talent expert and a senior talent executive with over 25 years of experience leading talent functions in law firms and professional services organizations around the world. Before joining BLG, Inga was the U.S. Chief Talent Officer at a large global law firm where she developed talent strategy, led and guided a full range of recruitment, development, human resources, talent innovation, engagement, and diversity and inclusion initiatives across 44 offices in the United States. Inga’s earlier experience includes running the HR and professional services function for one of the largest offshore law firms in the Caribbean, building the HR function for 25 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and setting up an HR Shared Services operation for a global firm based in the U.K. Inga holds BA and MBA degrees, a Stanford University GSB certificate and a Project Management certification. Inga is passionate about technology, community and entrepreneurship and is a frequent speaker, contributor and a mentor.
