Élie focuses on civil and commercial litigation as well as dispute resolution, representing prominent institutional clients in various litigation matters in the telecommunications, financial services, and public sectors.
While he mostly deals with contract performance litigation arising from large-scale commercial projects, he also takes on shareholder disputes, such as those centred on oppression remedy, and software implementation cases. In addition, he assists in proceedings related to extraordinary remedies.
His practice regularly involves pleading before all types of judicial bodies in Québec, especially the Superior Court, and occasionally the Court of Appeal. He was both a summer student and an articling student at BLG before returning as an associate.
