As an associate in the firm’s corporate and securities group, Colleen works closely with senior lawyers on a range of investment management and general corporate and securities matters.
In her investment management practice, Colleen supports matters relating to the formation, offering, and ongoing operation of investment funds. Her work includes contributing to regulatory compliance, disclosure obligations, and fund governance matters under Canadian securities laws.
Prior to joining the firm, Colleen gained experience in the natural resources sector through work in geology, providing her with industry context relevant to resource-focused clients. She also completed an Indigenous Community Legal Clinic externship, where she supported community-based legal initiatives and gained exposure to legal issues affecting Indigenous communities.
