Mariam is a returning summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2026 summer term.
Prior to law school, Mariam worked at the Prime Minister’s Office as a Research and Advertising Intern, conducting research to inform government policies. She graduated as Valedictorian of the University of Toronto Mississauga’s Class of 2024. During her undergraduate studies, Mariam worked at Minister Rechie Valdez’s constituency office and later at ADR Chambers, where she contributed to establishing the Canada Dispute Adjudication for Construction Contracts project.
Mariam found her first summer at BLG to be an incredibly rewarding and positive experience. She chose BLG for the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of practice areas and for its strong mentorship program.
In her spare time, Mariam enjoys playing the piano, spending time with her family and friends, and avidly following Canadian politics.
