Mariam is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2025 summer term.
Prior to law school, Mariam worked at the Prime Minister’s Office as a Research and Advertising Intern, conducting research to inform government policies. She graduated as Valedictorian of the University of Toronto Mississauga’s Class of 2024. During her undergraduate studies, Mariam worked at Minister Rechie Valdez’s constituency office and later at ADR Chambers, where she contributed to establishing the Canada Dispute Adjudication for Construction Contracts project.
Mariam chose BLG for its opportunities to gain experience in a wide range of practice areas and its strong mentorship program.
In her spare time, Mariam enjoys playing the flute and piano, recreational volleyball, spending time with family, and avidly following Canadian politics.
