Jordan is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2024 summer term. She is focusing on business law.

As a law student, Jordan has been part of the Ottawa Law Review, the Nelligan Moot, and participated in the law student exchanges to Haifa and San Juan. Jordan was also a Scotiabank AI + Society Technoship Fellow at the University of Ottawa and a Research Assistant to an Osgoode Hall Law School professor.

Prior to joining BLG, Jordan completed two Masters’ degrees in each of history and information science. She worked at both the federal and provincial levels of government in healthcare, data analytics, and public policy. Jordan was previously a high performance sailor and coach at two highly regarded programs in Toronto.

Knowing that the legal profession is changing in response to the rise of Artificial Intelligence, Jordan was drawn to BLG because of the forward-thinking approach the firm has towards these challenges. Jordan was particularly interested in BLG due to their Cyber Security, Privacy and Data Protection Team.  Observing the enthusiasm of the lawyers and the determination to rise to every challenge convinced Jordan that BLG was the right place for her.

In Jordan’s spare time you can find her reading novels that range from romance to fantasy to the classics. Jordan loves finding new restaurants, cycling, hiking the Bruce Trail, and swimming in Georgian Bay.
