Toronto (May 6, 2022) - Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) is proud to share it has been named Insurance Firm of the Year and for the second year in a row, Health Law / Medical Firm of the Year at the 2022 Benchmark Litigation Canada Awards. BLG was also awarded Impact Case of the Year for the matter, “Chelsea Jensen et al. v. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. et al.”
The Benchmark Litigation Canada Awards recognize the top litigation lawyers and firms across the country for the significance of their cases during 2021, including potential precedents set and particularly notable results. The awards are based on extensive interviews with litigators and their clients.
The Firm was also selected as one of Canada’s top litigation law firms in the latest edition of Benchmark Litigation Canada. BLG was highlighted as a “Highly Recommended Firm” across all four of the regions BLG operates in, with 62 lawyers recognized as “Litigation Stars,” 15 lawyers named “Future Stars.” Furthermore, Caitlin Sainsbury was named Competition Litigator of the Year and Robert Deane was named Arbitration Lawyer of the Year.
