Sam’s practice focuses on management-side labour and employment. He advises and represents Canadian and international employers on day-to-day workplace matters and disputes, including:
- employee terminations and wrongful dismissal actions
- human rights matters
- collective agreement grievances and arbitrations
- occupational health and safety
- legislative compliance and operational matters
- employment agreements and workplace policies
He also represents clients in police liability civil litigation and has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
Sam joined BLG as an associate after summering and articling with the firm.
