Jordan is a Senior Associate in BLG’s Corporate Group in Montréal. His practice focuses on private M&A, advising domestic and international private equity sponsors, strategic acquirors, portfolio companies, shareholders and private businesses on domestic and cross-border acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations and other complex commercial transactions.
He also has broad experience advising distressed companies and holders of distressed debt on distressed M&A transactions.
Jordan regularly assists clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, including with structuring considerations, legal due diligence, transaction documentation, negotiation strategy and post-closing matters.
Clients value Jordan’s practical, responsive and business-oriented approach to complex legal issues. He focuses on identifying key risks, advancing commercial solutions and helping clients move transactions efficiently from diligence through closing.

- Acted as Canadian counsel to Hilco Global in its reorganization and financing in connection with the sale of majority equity ownership to ORIX Corporation USA.
- Acted for Denmark-based Grundfos Holding A/S in its cross-border acquisition of Newterra, a water and wastewater treatment solutions provider, from Frontenac, a Chicago-based private equity firm.
- Advised the Door Doctor group of companies in its sale to U.S. private equity firm Trivest Partners, L.P.
- Advised Amsino International Inc. in the acquisition of MedXL Inc. and Liebel-Flarsheim Canada Inc., Canadian manufacturers of medical devices, as part of MedXL Inc. et al.'s CCAA proceeding.
- Advised a U.S.-based private equity firm in its acquisition of a controlling interest in a Montréal-based manufacturer of safety products.
- Advised industrial heater manufacturer Wattco Inc. and its shareholders on its sale to an affiliate of U.K. engineering company Smiths Group plc.
- Advised with the sale of a majority interest of Cellcom Communications, Bell Mobility's largest authorized dealer network responsible for distributing and selling products throughout Canada.
- Advised Labelcraft in a cross-border acquisition by a portfolio company of a publicly traded private equity fund.
