Madeline maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on professional negligence, commercial disputes, and insurance and tort liability. She advocates for a wide variety of clients, ranging from large corporations and institutions, small businesses, and individual professionals.
Madeline has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Small Claims Court in various jurisdictions, as well as several administrative tribunals including the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, and the Landlord Tenant Board.
Prior to joining BLG, Madeline was an associate at a leading boutique civil litigation firm. During law school, Madeline gained educational and experiential knowledge as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing her research on the duty of care and fiduciary duty in commercial contracts. She was also an Executive Member of the Queen’s Health Law Association and volunteered in both the Alumni Relations and Orientation Week Committees, acting as a liaison to alumni and welcoming incoming law students.
