Harry is a corporate commercial lawyer with a specialized focus in energy law, the electricity sector, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a trusted advisor to clients navigating the dynamic energy landscape, offering strategic guidance across project development, construction, operations, M&A and commercial contracting.
Harry's practice spans both the energy and infrastructure industries, where he regularly advises utilities, independent power producers, municipalities, investors, lenders and technology innovators. His counsel addresses the legal, commercial and policy challenges shaping the future of energy.
With broad experience in electricity distribution and generation—including wind, solar, hydroelectric and nuclear—Harry also supports clients working with emerging technologies. He is known for his ability to translate complex legal frameworks into practical, actionable strategies that help clients achieve their business objectives.
Harry began his legal career at BLG, where he summered and articled before joining as an associate. During his articling term, he was seconded to the legal department of a major electricity distribution company, gaining valuable in-house experience.

- Counsel to Dynasty Power Generation Inc. in respect of acquisition of 50MW Poplar Hill powerplant;
- Counsel to Northland Power Inc. and its affiliates on the acquisition, development and debt financing of the 250 MW Oneida battery storage project, a first of its kind utility scale lithium-ion battery storage project;
- Counsel to Northland Power Inc. and its affiliates on the acquisition of a renewable power development platform from Greengate Power Corporation in Alberta encompassing a solar and battery storage portfolio of over 1.6 GW and 1.2 GWh, respectively;
- Counsel to Shulus Electricity Transmission Line LP in the design-build-finance-operated and sale of the Kingsvale Power Transmission Line. This Project was named “Mid Market Deal of the Year – 2025" Canadian Law Awards;
- Counsel to the Independent Electricity System Operator in relation to the new 600 MW electricity trade agreement between the Government of Ontario and Québec;
- Advising developers, investors, and lenders concerning corporate and commercial aspects of power project development for a variety of technologies including battery storage, nuclear, solar, cogeneration, combined heat, and power; and
- Advising clients on transaction structure, contract design, risk assessment, power purchase (virtual and physical) and energy sales agreements, construction contracts, operations and maintenance agreements, service level agreements, and mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector.
