Harry practices in the corporate commercial group, with a focus on energy law, the electricity sector and mergers and acquisitions. 

Harry summered and articled at BLG before returning as an associate. During articling, he was seconded to a large electricity distribution company’s legal department. 

Experience

  • Advising developers, investors, and lenders concerning corporate and commercial aspects of power project development for a variety of technologies including battery storage, nuclear, solar, cogeneration, combined heat, and power.
  • Advising clients on transaction structure, contract design, risk assessment, power purchase (virtual and physical) and energy sales agreements, construction contracts, operations and maintenance agreements, service level agreements, and mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector.
