Grupa Kęty to acquire Metra for €645 million

On Sept. 14, 2026, Grupa Kęty announced a proposed €645 million (approximately US$745 million) acquisition of Metra from KPS Capital Partners. BLG is acting as Canadian counsel to Grupa Kęty.

Metra, headquartered in Italy, manufactures aluminum extrusion products for a range of industrial and construction applications and maintains operations across Europe and North America.

The cross-border transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary approvals. BLG is advising on the Canadian aspects of the proposed acquisition.
