Joseph has more than 13 years experience in dedicated arbitration counsel work.

He has experience representing multinational and state-owned companies in high-value and complex international and domestic arbitrations in various sectors, including construction, energy, government and transportation infrastructure.

Prior to joining BLG, Joseph worked for an international law firm in their Paris, Singapore and Abu Dhabi offices.

Experience

  • Represented a public energy utility in a $200 million arbitration with a contractor over the design, supply, and installation of seven turbine & generator units in a remote hydro electric project.
  • Represented a hospital in a dispute with an architectural consultant in a dispute regarding delays and deficiencies in the supplied drawings and design documents.
  • Represented a U.S. based respondent in an ICDR arbitration against a Canadian supplier of packaging solutions.
