During law school, she gained experience through clinical placements and competitive mooting, appearing before administrative tribunals and later coaching law students in advocacy. Roya also worked with the federal government, contributing to matters involving policy and regulation.
Prior to practicing law, Roya earned her Bachelor of Commerce where she focused on general governance and organizational strategy.
